Louisville, KY – A Montana jury took a swing at the makers of the Louisville Slugger baseball bat.

The panel ruled in favor of a family who sued the company for not warning users about the dangers of using aluminum bats.

The verdict means Hillerich and Bradsby is on the hook for $850,000. The company said it's not sure what it means beyond that because the jury also decided there was nothing wrong with the product.
 
Jesus H. Christ, what has this country come to?  You have got to be absolutely kidding me with this lawsuit, and that this family actually won.  Let me get this straight, you need a baseball bat company to warn you about the dangers of playing baseball?  Where the hell were you while your kid was playing baseball from age 13 on, when kids start ripping line drives down the line?  Dad was most likely a 12 pack deep in his busted old lawn chair, hitting on neighborhood MILFs consistently since tee ball.
 
What's the next step?  I demand that all hookers get a mandatory tattoo warning me of the consequences of having sex to them, such as contracting things like an awesome story and/or AIDS. 
 
Seriously, it's not ole Louisville Sluggers fault that your kid wasn't good enough on the ball field to make it to the pros, or to his 19th birthday.

Then what happens? Cliff Lee on short rest? If I were a Phillies fan I would start praying for Cole cause Lee isn't a fat ass like CC who can bounce back. Or maybe just start worrying about Septa striking with the Giants and Yankees in town, along with Barack. Oh yea Pearl Jam on Saturday too???

I've seen abortions that looked better than this, but I do have a huge sample size on that.
